Operating instructions:

1. Install the upper and lower fixtures onto the upper and lower joints of the testing machine, insert the pins, and tighten the locking nuts.

2. Rotate the handle to open the upper fixture jaws to an appropriate width, which is greater than the thickness of the loaded sample.

3. Place one end of the sample between the jaws of the upper fixture and rotate the handle to clamp the sample.

4. Reset the force value to zero.

5. Rotate the handle to open the jaws of the lower fixture to an appropriate width.

6. Move the crossbeam so that one end of the specimen is between the jaws of the lower fixture, then rotate the handle to clamp the specimen.

7. Start the experiment.
