Instructions for Fixture and Sample Clamping

1. Install the upper and lower joints of the fixture onto the upper and lower interfaces of the testing machine, insert the pins, and tighten the locking nuts.

2. Place one end of the sample into the jaws, maintain the center position, and open the cylinder to clamp the sample.

3. The outer end of the fixture (gauge end) is wound along the winding block and passes through the positioning groove. Be careful not to press the line and keep the centerline of the specimen in the center position.

4. Continue to wrap the other end along the lower fixture in the same way and insert it into the lower jaw, maintaining the center position. Be careful not to press the line against it, and open the cylinder to clamp the sample.

5. Reset the force value to zero.

6. Start the experiment.
